Samsung this year revamped its budget and mid-range smartphone lineup to compete with the likes of Xiaomi and Honor. Samsung now has M-lineup which targets the budget segment. As most of you already know, the M-series is focussed more on the online buyers. The smartphone maker has already launched four devices namely Galaxy M10, Galaxy M20, Galaxy M30 and Galaxy M40 under this new lineup. It seems like there is no stopping since Samsung is now planning to launch yet another budget device dubbed Samsung Galaxy M30s in the Indian market.
As the name suggests, the Galaxy M30s will fill the gap between the M30 and the most expensive M40. Well, as per the recent report, we now have the expected launch details and a few key specifications of the device.
Samsung Galaxy M30s: Leaked Specs, Features
According to a recent report by IANS, Samsung is working on its next budget smartphone, to be called Galaxy M30s. As per the report, the device will feature a triple camera setup at the back. The main primary sensor is going to a whopping 48MP which is expected considering the new trend. In terms of performance, the Galaxy M30s will run on the unknown Exynos chipset. In fact, this will be the first smartphone in the lineup to come with that unknown Exynos chipset. Apart from all these, the device will run on a larger battery having the support of fast charging. Sadly, the report has not revealed anything else about the device.

If previous rumors & leaks are to be believed, the Galaxy M30s is going to be an improved version of the M30 and might come with similar internals. Samsung Galaxy M30s is expected to feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED display having Full HD+ resolution. The device might also sport a 16MP selfie snapper on the front, Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band WiFi and USB Type-C port. In terms of storage, there should be two different options – 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB memory. No wonder, the device will run on the latest Android 9.0 Pie with OneUI on top.
Pricing, Availability
Unfortunately, the report gave us no clue in terms of pricing of the device. Surprisingly, there has been no previous leaks that revealed the expected price tag of the phone. As mentioned earlier, Samsung Galaxy M30s is going to lie between the M30 and M40. With that fact, the price might lie between INR 13,990 and INR 19,990. Although the report did reveal the fact that the upcoming Galaxy M30s will see its official launch in September i.e. next month. Since September is right around the corner, we might see more leaks and rumors to come forward in the coming days.
