The Vivo V15 Pro was announced just in February and there are already talks of its successor, the Vivo V17 Pro expected to launch in September in India. This has been the trend so far this year with many OEMs opting to refresh their portfolios in a mere six months. According to 91mobiles, the Vivo V17 Pro launches by the end of September although there’s no exact launch date.

The hint comes from a popular reality TV show ad in India. The Bigg Boss 13 season will start soon and the promo video for it has Bollywood actor Salman Khan holding a handset with a colour not seen on Vivo handsets yet. It’s similar to the Vivo S1 White gradient but this handset has curved glass back panel that tells us it is not the Vivo S1. Furthermore, the actor has purposefully hidden the upper portion of the phone and hence this is believed to be the Vivo V17 Pro.
The V15 Pro successor could feature a total of six cameras – four at the back and two at the front, according to the publication. It is also expected to carry enhanced zooming capabilities, similar to the 20x zoom found on OPPO Reno 10x Zoom.
