Meizu UR high-end custom headphones released – It costs as much as 8699 yuan ($1215)


Today, Chinese manufacturer, Meizu, released its latest flagship smartphone, Meizu 16s Pro. In addition, the company also unveiled its latest Flyme 8 OS. However, these are not the only unveilings at the conference. Before the Meizu 16s Pro and Flyme 8 OS were announced, the company released Meizu UR high-end custom headphones and Meizu HiFi decoding amp Pro.

The Meizu UR high-end custom headset uses a private customized personal ear mold. It has a 4/8/6/10 sound combination unit solution. Potential users can select from any of these combinations.

“UR” which stands for “Ultra Rare”, is a new acoustic high-end custom brand of Meizu. According to Meizu’s official website, this technology is exclusively customized by Meizu.

Meizu UR new high-end custom headphones are available in 6-panel options. This includes resin panel, acrylic panel, gear steampunk panel, pearl powder art panel, stabilized wood panel, and resin wood panel. Meizu is trying to bring a highly personalized headset to users. This headset accepts personalized letter customization and 3 professional wire selection. In addition, there are also 8 colors available for selection.

Well, this is a highly custom headset thus it should come at a price. However, the prices of this headset make it one of the most expensive in the industry. In terms of the selling price, the Meizu UR is available in 4, 6, 8 and 10 units. The 4 units headset sells for 2699 yuan ($377), while the 6, 8 and 10 units sell for 3699 yuan ($517), 5699 yuan ($796), and 8699 yuan ($1215) respectively. The sale of this headset commences immediately.
