Today, Chinese manufacturer, Meizu, released its latest flagship smartphone, Meizu 16s Pro. In addition, the company also unveiled its latest Flyme 8 OS. However, these are not the only unveilings at the conference. Before the Meizu 16s Pro and Flyme 8 OS were announced, the company released Meizu UR high-end custom headphones and Meizu HiFi decoding amp Pro.
The Meizu UR high-end custom headset uses a private customized personal ear mold. It has a 4/8/6/10 sound combination unit solution. Potential users can select from any of these combinations.
“UR” which stands for “Ultra Rare”, is a new acoustic high-end custom brand of Meizu. According to Meizu’s official website, this technology is exclusively customized by Meizu.

This includes resin panel, acrylic panel, gear steampunk panel, pearl powder art panel, stabilized wood panel, and resin wood panel. Meizu is trying to bring a highly personalized headset to users. This headset accepts personalized letter customization and 3 professional wire selection. In addition, there are also 8 colors available for selection.
Well, this is a highly custom headset thus it should come at a price. However, the prices of this headset make it one of the most expensive in the industry. In terms of the selling price, the Meizu UR is available in 4, 6, 8 and 10 units. The 4 units headset sells for 2699 yuan ($377), while the 6, 8 and 10 units sell for 3699 yuan ($517), 5699 yuan ($796), and 8699 yuan ($1215) respectively. The sale of this headset commences immediately.
