HMD Global has disclosed some details of the tax results for 2018 that the company will publish over the next few weeks. According to the report, Nokia has sold 80 million devices worldwide, a value that has grown by about 10 million units compared to 2017.
HMD Global reports that it had net sales of EUR 2.4 billion and a net loss of EUR 189 million. So if sales have increased, the accounts have closed with a minus sign and, as explained by Juho Sarvikas, the losses derive from the significant investment in production, logistics, research and development.
Despite everything and going back to the present. This second part of the year is already going much better, with an increase in profits of 7%. And a growth that is making encouraging numbers, especially in North America. All the spotlight is now on Nokia’s appointment at IFA 2019 which, we remember, will open its doors tomorrow, 4 September. Several smartphones and feature phones will be presented in Berlin, including the expected Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 7.2.
Gizchina News of the week
Nokia 7.2
Regarding the Nokia 7.2, as the name suggests, this is going to be a successor to the previous-gen Nokia 7.1. The smartphone has already been leaked numerous times earlier. This mobile has been seen in some new renders with a small frames screen and a triple rear camera.
According to the latest rumors, this Nokia 7.2 would arrive with a screen of 6 inches. Or more with an HD+ resolution. Inside we would find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor. Accompanied by 4 or 6 GB of RAM, as well as 64 or 128 GB of internal storage. We do not know the triple camera configuration, but we hope it has a wide-angle and telephoto sensor.
