Chinese manufacturing giant, Xiaomi, has a couple of lineups in its shelves and the MIX series is a flagship to look out for. One sure thing about the MIX series is its full-screen design without a notch or waterdrop display. Right from Xiaomi Mi MIX, the company adopts a tri-bezeless design. However, with Mi MIX 3, it went a step further by using a sliding design. This improved the display ratio of the smartphone. Now, there are speculations regarding the design of the Xiaomi Mi MIX 4. Recent Weibo posts from Xiaomi CEO, Lei Jun, seems to appreciate the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S design.
Today, Chairman and CEO of Xiaomi, Lei Jun, took to Weibo to praise the design of the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S (predecessor of Mi MIX 3). Lei Jun siad “Good design can stand the test of time!”. In another Weibo post, he said again “Take my MIX2S out and play it, the ceramic body is still very beautiful!”.
These posts are brewing speculations that the upcoming Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 might follow the Mi MIX 2S design. That is, it will probably not use a slider design like its predecessor and may come with a ceramic body. In addition, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 may come with the 180MP sensor from Samsung. This sensor jointly released by Xiaomi and Samsung ISOCELL outputs images with 12032 × 9024. The images will be pretty large in size thus this smartphone better start from 128GB storage.

In terms of core configuration, the MIX 4 could come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ SoC as well as a UFS 3.0 flash memory. We also expect wireless charging (may support wireless reverse charging). This smartphone is expected to debut at the end of this month. If Xiaomi will adopt the Mi MIX 2S design, then it will likely use a punch-hole camera or a pop-up camera. The bezels of the Xaomi Mi MIX 4 have to be as thin as possible.
