Gizchina News of the week
The Galaxy Fold is almost similar to the original one, despite the new 5G capabilities and improved design. Now, the screen is safe thanks to a cover that goes under the bezel. The hinge is now protected from external particles like dust, sand and pocket junk. Furthermore, it leaves almost no space between both sides of the slate, when folded.
Specs-wise, we’re getting the same internals of the previous models. However, countries, where 5G networks are available, will get a distinct version of the foldable phone with 5G support. When it comes to the UK, EE offers good 5G support to six cities – Belfast, Birmingham, Cardiff, Edinburgh, London, Manchester. There will be more ten cities until the end of the year, according to the carrier.
The price of the Samsung Galaxy Fold will be £1,900 (~$2.312/€2100). It will be available for purchase at EE and Samsung Experience Stores. If you want to experience a unit of the Fold, it will be available in Samsung KX, Harrods, and Selfridges.
