Android 10 source code confirms a 90Hz screen for Google Pixel 4 series

This year, many mobile phone brands have launched smartphones with high refresh rate displays. The likes of Nubia Red Magic 3, Red Magic 3S, Asus ROG Phone 2, OnePlus 7 Pro, etc all have high refresh rates. Now, the Google Pixel 4 series will also use a display with a high refresh rate. Last month, there were speculations that the Pixel 4 series will support a 90 Hz display. Now, XDA-developers have confirmed this information from the Android 10 source code released by Google.

According to te Android 10 source code, the new Pixel devices can reach the 90Hz refresh rate. The Pixel 4 XL features a 6.3-inch 1440P 90Hz OLED display while the Pixel 4 uses a 5.7-inch 1080P 90Hz OLED display. The Google Pixel 4 XL will use a 3700 mAh battery while the Pixel 4 battery is 2800 mAh. It’s amazing that the Pixel 4 comes with a 90Hz display and the battery is less than 3000mAh. The battery life is a bit of concern for many enthusiasts.

In addition, Google Pixel 4 comes with 6GB of RAM, a rear dual camera, one of which is a 16-megapixel telephoto lens. It will also come with the latest Android 10 SO out-of-the-box. By convention, the Google Pixel 4 series will be officially released next month.
