We recently reported a leak of the Mi MIX 4 that hinted at a curved display and a 90Hz refresh rate. Today, an alleged screen protector that is attributed to the unreleased device has popped up on social media. The Mi MIX 4 has still not received a launch date but rumours suggest the phone will launch on September 24th in China along with MIUI 11.
Taking a look at the screen films of the Mi MIX 4, there isn’t any clue that says it belongs to it, hence why we consider it dubious. However, there have been more than a couple of reports that have hinted at a curved display for the upcoming handset. Now, renowned tipster IceUniverse also says the same and also adds that a 90Hz screen will also be present on the full-screen handset. This makes the flagship even more interesting than earlier as it is also expected to be the first 108MP camera handset bringing a powerful camera experience.
Gizchina News of the week
In the second half of the year, smartphones have only two unsolved mysteries: one is Xiaomi MIX 4, and the other is Reno Ace, which OPPO has just announced. It will use a 90Hz screen and will be released in October.

Apart from that, a 40W fast-charge is also expected and the Mi Mix 3 successor could also feature a pop-up selfie camera and be backed by a 4,500 mAh battery unit, if these sources are correct. Also, being a flagship, we definitely expect a Snapdragon 855+ as well on the device. No official teasers are out yet but maybe Xiaomi is waiting for the huge iPhone wave to subside.
