A few days ago, Chinese manufacturer, Realme, released its latest smartphone, Realme Q. This device is quite attractive as it comes with a quad-rear camera setup and a 998 yuan ($140) starting price. According to the sales statistics on Tmall and Jingdong, this smartphone has been dazzling. Realme Q is currently the top single product on Tmall and it is the best selling phone within the 1000 yuan ($141) – 1500 yuan ($211) range on Jingdong. In fact, it has increased Realme’s sales by 3370%.

One of its biggest highlights of this smartphone is that it comes with Sony’s 48MP sensor in a quad-rear camera configuration. Specifically, it has a 48MP ultra-clear main sensor + 8MP super wide-angle + 2MP portrait + 2MP macro cameras. It further supports super night scene mode, composite multi-frame engine, and HDR technology. In the front, it comes with a 16MP selfie camera. Of course, there are a fair number of software modes like Nightscape, 960fps slow-motion video shooting, and 4K video recording at 30fps.
Realme Q uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 mobile platform and the battery capacity is 4035 mAh which support VOOC 3.0 flash charge. In terms of price, Realme Q 4GB+64GB version sells for 998 yuan ($140) while the 6GB+64GB and 8GB+128GB versions sell for 1198 yuan ($169) and 1498 yuan ($211) respectively.
