The heavily-leaked OPPO A9 (2020) and A5 (2020) are now official in India, despite their nomenclature indicating a next year launch date. Both the devices are aimed at the jam-packed Rs 10,000- Rs 20,000 bracket of India that has some pretty stiff competition. The OPPO A5 2020 will be priced at INR 12,490 for the 3GB RAM + 64GB ROM variant and INR 13,990 for 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM variant. The more premium OPPO A9 (2020) will start at INR 16,990 for the 4GB RAM + 128GB ROM and INR 19,990 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM.
Both handsets have very identical configurations indeed and the only change seems lies in the camera sensors. Hence, where the OPPO A9 (2020) boasts a 48MP main camera, the A5 (2020) has a 12MP sensor. The front camera of the two devices is 16MP and 8MP respectively.
