Earlier today, Samsung launched two new smartphones in the Indian market further expanding its Galaxy M-lineup. The South Korea smartphone company has launched Galaxy M10s and Galaxy M30s. Samsung Galaxy M30s is the follow up for the previously launched Galaxy M30. Except for the front display panel, the M30s comes with some significant upgrades when compared to its predecessor. Some of the key highlights of the device include Super AMOLED panel, 48MP rear camera, 6000mAh battery and a 15W fast charging support. Here is everything you need to know about the device.

Before we talk about the specifications, let’s talk about the variants and pricing. Samsung Galaxy M30s comes in two storage variant – 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB options. The smartphone features a dual-tone colour scheme on the back and is available in Opal Black, Sapphire Blue and Pearl White. The base variant of the device is priced at INR 13,999 (roughly 196 USD) while the top-end variant will set you back around INR 16,999 (roughly USD 238). Just like the Galaxy M10s, the M30s will be up for grabs from September 29 via Amazon India and Samsung e-store.

Coming to the specifications, Samsung Galaxy M30s features a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U display having a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels and a pixel density of 411ppi. The smartphone offers a near all-display experience with negligible bezels on the side and U-shaped notch. Under the hood, the device is powered by an Exynos 9611 chipset coupled with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. The chipset is based on the 10nm manufacturing process and features eight cores. The Exynos 9611 SoC is powerful than the one found on Galaxy M10s. In fact, you will find the same chipset in the mid-range Galaxy A50 smartphone.
In terms of storage and memory, the device features up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of onboard memory. There is a dedicated Micro SD card slot allowing you to expand the internal storage by up to 1TB. For imaging, there is a triple camera module at the back of the device. It consists of a 48MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and 5MP depth sensor. For selfies, there is a 16MP front snapper located inside the notch with an aperture of f/2.0. Samsung has added numerous camera-focused features such as AI scene optimizer, Flaw detector, 20 presets scenes, Night Mode, Super Slow-Mo and much more.
All of these is fueled by a beefy 6000mAh battery with the support of 15W fast charging. Samsung Galaxy M30s runs on the latest version of Android i.e. Android Pie based on the One UI software. Additionally, the device also comes with Widevine L1 certification allowing users to stream HD content on platforms such as Netflix and Prime Video. To enhance the overall audio experience, you also get Dolby Atmos support for both loudspeaker and 3.5-mm headphones. Other specifications include USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.0 with A2DP, dual-band WiFi, GPS and rear fingerprint sensor.
