Along with the new handsets, the company decided to share some details about the success of its recent flagships. During the Mate 30 presentation, the company’s CEO Richard Yu revealed that the Mate 20 series shipped over 16 million devices. That’s a huge improvement over the “more than 10 million” Mate 10 series shipments. Moreover, the CEO also reported the stupendous success of the P-series, achieving even better numbers.

Gizchina News of the week

Huawei P30 Phones have already shipped more than 17 million units. That’s an impressive milestone considering that at this point, Huawei P30 lineup still is half a year old. For a quick comparison, the P20 and P20 Pro managed 10+ million shipments in the first 5 months. The P30 series, however, took 62 days less to cross the 10 million shipments milestone.

The Huawei Watch GT was released 10 months ago and in that period 3 million units have been shipped. Moreover, seems that shipments are getting more speed with the Watch GT crossing 2 million units in June.  Worth noting that the GT is powered by a Huawei-made chipset which runs an in-house OS. Both the Watch GT and the Watch GT 2 are unaffected by the US trade ban.
