We are already aware of the fact that Xiaomi is planning to launch its first-ever 8K television in the coming days. That does not keep the brand from already expanding its 4K television lineup in the homeland. The smartphone maker has now launched yet another smart television in China. Xiaomi Mi TV 4A is the company’s new offering which comes with a massive display, thin bezels, and a voice-assistant. Additionally, users will also be able to control various smart devices connected to the same network with the help of the assistant.
Xiaomi Mi TV 4A 70-inch 4K Launched in China
As the name suggests, the all-new Xiaomi Mi TV 4A features a massive 70-inch IPS LCD display with the support of 4K resolution and HDR. On top of this, the display features a refresh rate of 60Hz and comes with thin bezels on the sides. Even the entire form factor of the television is ultra-slim. Coming to the internals, the television packs 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard memory. The smart television runs on the 64-bit Amlogic processor. As expected, the product makes use of the company’s custom PatchWall OS. Mi TV 4A also comes with all the necessary connectivity options – three HDMI ports, two USD ports, AV input, S/PDIF audio port, and dual-band WiFi. For an immersive audio experience, the television comes with two 8W speakers with the support of Dolby Atmos and DTS HD.

Along with the Mi TV 4A, Xioami’s sub-brand Redmi has also revealed its own smart television called simply Redmi TV. The television features the same 70-inch display panel on the front. It also offers the slim bezel design with 4K HDR panel for good display experience. Furthermore, it also uses the same PatchWall OS which, by the way, is based on the Android platform. For connectivity, Redmi TV comes with Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi and three HDMI Ports.
Pricing, Availability
Xiaomi Mi TV 70-inch variant will be up for grabs starting from tomorrow for a price tag of RMB 3,999 (roughly USD 563) in the Chinese market. The television will be available from various popular e-commerce platforms such as JD.com, Tmall, Suning, Xiaomi’s e-store and of course Mi Home Stores.
