Realme X2 will feature 4,000mAh battery with 30W VOOC Flash Charge 4.0 support

Realme X2

Despite the fact that the Realme X still is a relatively new handset, Realme is already working on a sequel dubbed as Realme X2. The new premium midrange smartphone will be revealed in the next week. Thanks to a couple of leaks and teasers we already know that the handset will ship with a 64MP quad-camera setup on the rear and a 32MP selfie snapper. Moreover, the smartphone will ship with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 730G. Now new fresh information came to reveal that it will boast a 4,000mAh battery with 30W VOOC Flash Charge 4.0 support.

Gizchina News of the week

Realme shared an image on Weibo comparing the 30W VOOC Flash Charge 4.0 with standard 18W and 10W charging. Using the 30W standard a 4,000 mAh battery went from 0 to 67% in 30 minutes. With the lower 10W it could only reach 34%. And, with 18W a 4,500mAh battery went to 39% in the same time amount.

Interesting enough, the Realme X has a smaller 3,765mAh battery with a 20W charger that uses the same VOOC standard. It fills a completely depleted battery in 1:18h and it’s at the 50% mark 30 minutes into it. So we can clearly see the improvements with the Realme X2. Users will have a bigger battery with further improved charging efficiency.

The Realme X2 will go official on September 24 and has all the pros to be another hit.
