Last week, Oppo launched two new budget smartphone in the India dubbed Oppo A5 2020 and Oppo A9 2020. Well, the former is now up for grabs in the Indian market starting from today. Some of the key features of the device include a quad rear camera module, waterdrop display, Snapdragon 665 chipset, and a beefy 5,000mAh battery. Oppo A5 2020 comes in two different storage variant – 3GB+64GB and 4GB+64GB options. The smartphone also comes in two color options namely Dazzling White and Mirror Black. The base variant of the device is up for grabs for INR 12,490 while the top-end model will set you back INR 13,990. The smartphone is currently available for purchase via Amazon India and various offline channels.
Coming to the launch offers, Oppo has partnered with HDFC Bank to offer 5% instant discount on the HDFC credit and debit cards. Additionally, the buyers can also make use of INR 1,500 extra exchange discount, no-cost EMI and an extra INR 2,000 upgrade off on exchanging Oppo device. As expected, the smartphone maker is also offering Reliance Jio benefits of worth INR 7,050.

Oppo A5 2020 comes with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 720×1600 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The display offers 82.7% screen-to-body-ratio, 270ppi pixel density, and 480 nits brightness. Under the hood, the device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset coupled with Adreno 610. The internal memory is also expandable up to 256GB via dedicated Micro SD slot. For imaging, there is a quad-camera module at the back. It consists of a primary 12MP sensor, 8MP ultrawide lens, 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP monochrome shooter. For selfies, there is an 8MP front snapper with an aperture of f/2.0 housed inside the notch.
