Oppo is gearing up to reveal the Reno Ace on October 10 as the company’s new flagship. It will feature a 90Hz display and a 4,000mAh battery with fast-charging support will keep the things running. Despite the fact, that we still are some weeks away from the launch, the company decided to reveal the device with its official renders on JD.com.
The renders reveal some interesting details. First of all, it won’t be a fancy or groundbreaking smartphone when it comes to design. With Reno Ace, seems that Oppo will be playing safe, at least on this aspect. We can see a waterdrop notch at the top of display housing the front-facing camera. This means that the unusual pop-up camera mechanism from the original Oppo Reno won’t be making a comeback here. The Oppo Reno Ace will be available in at least two color options – Blue and Green.
Gizchina News of the week
Worth noting that this handset will be the world’s first smartphone to feature 65W fast-charging support. It is the latest SuperVOOC 2.0 standard, disclosed by Oppo a few days ago. According to reports, this powerful system will top up a 4,000mAh battery in just 30 minutes. Furthermore, the Oppo Reno Ace should debut the Snapdragon 855+ chipset among Oppo phones.
Unfortunately, there are no much details about the specifications, but we also expect support for the 30W wireless charging called Wireless VOOC Charge on the Qi standard. Last, but not least, there’s a “48MP” moniker near the top shooter of the Quad-Camera setup. If Oppo keeps up with the leaks, we should know more in the coming days.
