Alongside the Oneplus 7T, Oneplus at the India event today announced its own mobile payment system to take on the likes of Google Pay and Apple Pay. Dubbed the Oneplus Pay, the company revealed that the service will fully be available from 2020, stressing that we no more need a wallet with the arrival of the OneplusPay.
Official details are scarce. Still, Oneplus revealed that work on the OneplusPay has been on for a while now, and is now due to arrive in 2020. Perhaps, the rollout will begin in India, given that the announcement first surfaced in an India event. A Global rollout is also plausible. At what time the OneplusPay will debut in 2020, what banks and services will be compatible has yet to be revealed.
