Samsung Galaxy A5 Entry Level Phone in Works, Specs Leaked

Galaxy A50

Samsung has already launched plenty of smartphones in its new Galaxy M and Galaxy lineup since the beginning of the year. After launching numerous “S” versions of devices, the smartphone is now working on an entry-level device. This entry-level device will fall under the Galaxy A lineup. In fact, the device might be the cheapest Galaxy A smartphone from the company. As per the report, the device will have the model number SM-A105F. There is still no information on which moniker the device will go by. Furthermore, the device might be dubbed as Samsung Galaxy A5 but it is still unclear at this moment. As the naming nomenclature suggests, the device will lie below the Galaxy A10 and A10s.

Coming to the specifications, Samsung Galaxy A5 might come with a 5.7-inch display. We might even see Infinity-U or Infinity-V displays with very thin bezels on the sides. The smartphone should run on the latest version of Android i.e. Android 9.0 Pie based on the One UI software. Apart from these few specifications, we don’t have much information on the smartphone. Since it’s the first piece of information, we might see more leaks coming towards our way.

Gizchina News of the week

Samsung is already covering the budget and mid-budget segment with its new lineup of devices. It seems like the company is now aiming for the entry-level segment to compete with the likes of Redmi 8A. It would be interesting to see how well the entry-level Galaxy A smartphone will perform considering tough competition from Xiaomi and Realme. In another development, Samsung is also expected to release the next S-upgrade next month. This time we might see the Galaxy A70s hitting the shelf. In fact, the device has been leaked numerous times earlier revealing all the key specs.
