Earlier this year, Xiaomi introduced its first-ever water purifier called Mi Water Purifier “Lentils” in its homeland. The Chinese smartphone maker has now launched a successor dubbed Xiaomi Mi Water Purifier C1. It is an upgraded version of the previous-gen water purifier. Like its predecessor, the upgraded variant uses the same 4-level filtration technique. You can now connect the water purifier to three different faucets. Out of them, one can serve as a clean drinking water source.

Coming to the design, Mi Water Purifier C1 rocks the same design as that of its predecessor with 471x452x170mm. In fact, you still get the same 3L tank capacity. As expected, the purifier uses the Reverse Osmosis (RO) filteration technology having four purification chambers. The brand claims that the product comes with an appreciable TDS value.

The product features a water production efficiency to wastewater ratio is 1:1. This results in no water wastage. Talking about the usage, a family with 3 to 5 persons can meet their daily needs easily with the total production of 47 cans per day. For those who don’t know, the water output rate is 1.3L/minute. Additionally, the water travels through the high-density folding. Xioami has also claimed that the water coming out of this purifier meets the packaging-grade drinking water standards.
Pricing, Availability
Xiaomi Mi Water Purifier C1 is up for pre-order China via Xiaomi’s official website. The water purifier comes with a price tag of 1299 Yuan (roughly USD 182) and will be available for purchase starting from September 30. There is no information on whether the product will make its way to the global market or not. Xiaomi recently launched Mi Smart Water Purifier in the Indian market which comes with RO as well as UV and follows Penta purification process. With that said, Xiaomi might launch the purifier in India offering a budget-friendly option to the consumer.
