Huawei is working on Kirin 1000 with 5nm process that we will see on Mate 40

Despite the ongoing problems with the US government, Huawei is always working to bring innovations to the Android smartphone industry. In this regard, important information emerged according to which Huawei would already be developing the new generation of processors, the Kirin 1000.

For some time the Chinese company has also been a leader in the production of chips for mobile devices. Which are coming to market with the name of Kirin. The Kirin 990, currently integrated as SoC for the Mate 30 range. It will be the last processor of the company to be realized with a 7nm production process.

In fact, the next Kirin 1000 will be built with a 5nm production process. And will have A77- type CPU architecture. The new SoC should be launched in the middle of next year and should see the light on the upcoming Huawei Mate 40.

It is worth to mention that the long-standing issues between the US and Huawei have become a constant topic of discussion. In fact, Huawei’s CEO, Rei Zhengfei has been so vocal since the US placed a ban on Huawei. Recently, Ren Zhengfei said that it is a fact that Huawei can survive without the supply of the US. According to him, a  large number of Western companies already has products without US parts. This boosts their confidence.
