All the power of the new A13 Bionic processor, 3GB of RAM and the familiar design of the iPhone 8. All for sale at a price far more accessible than other Apple smartphones. This is the response of the Chinese analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, known for his predictions on Apple products (which very often turned out to be correct) for the possible iPhone SE 2, which should arrive at the beginning of 2020.

According to many, the technical part of the phone will follow very closely that of the iPhone 8 so a 4.7″ LCD screen – much smaller than all the models launched later – home button with Touch ID, but in addition all the technological potential of the last chip. Thus also access to Augmented Reality and new services. The move seems indeed quite plausible considering that iPhone 8 and 8 Plus are still for sale (at a reduced price) after the launch of the new iPhone 11 and that their withdrawal would leave room for a model with a similar price (original iPhone SE was sold at around $350).

But that could be attracted by a compact model with few frills, especially if it was offered at a reasonable price.
If all the pieces went in their place, the move would also bring lifeblood to new services like Apple Arcade. Which is accessible only with the power guaranteed by the A13 chip. The new SoC in fact, with a decidedly more fluid user experience. And could represent a valid purchase motivation for old loyal customers. It is no coincidence that Kuo expects sales of 30-40 million units in 2020. Which are significant figures that make its analysis even more interesting.
