Google Pixel 4 series to come with a “Pixel Neural Core”

Over the past two months, there have been numerous leaks and speculations regarding the upcoming Google Pixel 4 series. The configuration and appearance of the Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL are basically no secret. Now, there are indications that the new Pixel series will come with a “Pixel Neural Core” which has not been mentioned before. 

Last year, with the help of the “Pixel Visual Core” (a dedicated image processing chip), the Pixel 3 series stood out from the competition in the field of smartphone photography. This year, we have a “Pixel Neural Core”. This may imply that the chip uses a neural network technology to process images.

In terms of configuration, the latest information is consistent with previous exposures. This includes the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, 6GB RAM, 90Hz refresh rate screen and so on. The Google Pixel 4 features a 5.7-inch FHD+ resolution OLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and 2800 mAh. The Google Pixel 4 XL features a 6.3-inch QHD+ resolution OLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and a built-in 3700 mAh battery. In addition, both phones are equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, equipped with Pixel Neural Core, 6 GB RAM and 64GB/128GB body storage, and 18W USB-C charger.
