Last night, Microsoft released an audio product, namely the Surface Earbuds. There are two color options of glacier white and gray. The latter will come later this year. They are priced at $249.

Last year, Microsoft introduced the first Surface-branded wireless noise-canceling headphones dubbed as the Surface Headphones. They support a 13-level noise reduction adjustment. In fact, the response is not bad. In this sense, this year’s Surface Earbuds wireless headphones are functionally the same as the Apple AirPods.

The Microsoft Surface Earbuds supports Windows, Android, and iOS systems. All three operating systems support gesture control. In addition, the control gestures are quite simple. Say, you can increase or decrease the volume by sliding up and down. Tap the side to skip the track and double-click to answer the call. It supports Office interaction.

Due to the unique design, the wearing is very comfortable. The earbuds are available in small, medium, and large sizes.

In terms of battery life, Microsoft said that Surface Earbuds can provide up to 24 hours of endurance. The headset provides 8 hours of battery life alone, and the charging case can charge the headset twice.

The sound effect is surprisingly good. The details and atmosphere of live band concert music can be heard clearly. This is also true for all genres of music. For iOS and Android, Microsoft will launch a mobile app to optimize the experience and use it to access Cortana.

Generally, Microsoft launched up to 6 products yesterday. And though some of them just updated the existing Surface line, there have been a few that stood out. The Surface Earbuds are among them.
