The launch is on October 9th while we’re yet to hear about the highly anticipated Redmi Note 8 Pro. The handse has also been certified at TENAA.
Gizchina News of the week
Based on the latest information, the Redmi 8 comes with a Snapdragon 439 SoC. Understandably, this would be a downgrade from the Snapdragon 632 that was fitted in its predecessor. China Telecom mentions M1908C3IC as the model number for the Redmi 8. It also has a 6.21-inch HD+ display powered by a 5,000mAh battery, a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The only difference seems to be a secondary rear camera in the form of a depth sensor. The retail price of the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage version is 1599 Yuan from the telecom operator.
The mentioned colours are Red, Green and Blue although we might see even more shades eventually.
