Oneplus 7T Pro McLaren Edition teased by CEO

Oneplus 7T Pro McLaren Edition
The Oneplus 6T from last year got a special McLaren Edition with maxed out specs and a black-and-orange design, and it appears the Chinese firm is keen on taking the cooperation with McLaren further. While the firm has been actively teasing the Oneplus 7T Pro, CEO Pete Lau earlier today dropped a tweet that suggests we might be getting a Oneplus 7T Pro McLaren Edition.
Pete Lau in a tweet shared a retail box of an upcoming device which we presume is that of the 7T Pro McLaren Edition. It is worth noting that the tweet doesn’t mention the OnePlus 7T McLaren Edition, but the box shares similarities with the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition’s package. The lid on the box has a carbon fiber finish with orange accents at the base which looks quite similar to the papaya orange theme that McLaren uses on its racing cars.

Assuming the Oneplus 7T Pro McLaren Edition is in the offing, we expect the device to be built around the Oneplus 7T Pro. It will, however, get some cosmetics touches, and a few internal differences. The most likely differences could be in the form of more RAM, storage, and perhaps, a faster 65W charger developed by sister company Oppo.

Oneplus 7T Pro Specs

From all we know so far, the OnePlus 7T Pro will get a similar design as the Oneplus 7T including a curved 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Of course, the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 855+ with 8GB RAM, and 12GB RAM for the special edition.
