Today, Chinese manufacturing giant, Oppo, officially sent out invites for its October 10 Reno Ace event. Unexpectedly, the Oppo Reno Ace invitation did not use the usual design and it also confirmed some specs of this smartphone. The invitation includes a row of mahjong (a tile-based game that was developed in China during the Qing dynasty). Each tile in the row contains information about the smartphone.
Gizchina News of the week
The Oppo Reno Ace invitation contains 14 tiles in the row. The tiles bears “Reno”, “Ace”, “6”, “5”, “W”, “Super”, “Flash”, “9”, “0”, “Hz”, “8”, “5”, “5”, and “+”. It is quite easy to see that Oppo verifies that the Reno Ace will come with a 65W Super Flash charge, 90Hz display and of course a Snapdragon 855+ SoC. Before this official confirmation, there have been reports that the Oppo Reno Ace will use the 65W SuperVOOC which will be the highest mobile charging power in the industry.
According to the official measurement, the Reno Ace 65W SuperVOOC can fill a 4000 mAh battery in just 30 minutes. This is quite amazing and super fast. In the core configuration, this smartphone uses a waterdrop screen and will be available in at least two color options – Blue and Green.
