DxOMark is a popular platform for testing the performance of smartphone cameras. Earlier this year, the platform tested the OnePlus 7 Pro and it scored 111 points. Recently, it updated the score of OnePlus 7 Pro from 111 points to 114 points. According to the organization, after using the new “wide-angle” and “night photography” scoring benchmarks, the camera score increased. The smartphone now ranks fifth. It said

OnePlus 7 Pro comes with a 48MP Sony IMX586 Quad-Bayer main sensor which combines four adjacent pixels into one. Thus, the final image resolution is only 12 MP (4000 ×3000 pixels). However, this improves the colour performance, detail and dynamic range. The ultra-wide-angle lens is paired with a 16MP sensor, while the 8MP sensor is a telephoto lens.
