12 Xiaomi/Redmi phones get MIUI 11 stable update in China

[Update ]: The stable update is for Redmi/Xiaomi smartphones in China. The first batch of devices will get the update in India from October 22nd.

Xiaomi at the Redmi Note 8/Pro smartphone launch in India days back shared a list of devices that will get the latest version of its MIUI 11 stable update in India. While the tentative list in India has a total of 28 devices, Xiaomi has just started rolling out the MIUI stable update to a number of Xiaomi/Redmi smartphones in China.

The firm has released the MIUI11 stable update for the first batch of devices – a total of 12 Xiaomi smartphones.  The Xiaomi Mi 9SE, Mi MIX3, Mi MIX2S, Xiaomi Mi 8, Mi 8 youth version, Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer Edition,  Mi 8 under-display fingerprint Edition, Xiaomi Mi 8SE, Mi Max 3, Redmi K20, Redmi Note 7 Pro, and Redmi 7. So far, no user has reported getting the update in China.

If you own any of these devices, then you can expect the MIUI11 stable update to hit your device in the coming days via OTA. Otherwise, you check out the update manually via settings – My Device – MIUI version detection, support direct upgrade from MIUI 8, MIUI 9, MIUI 10 stable version to MIUI 11.

MIUI 11 stable update for K20 Pro?

For popular models like the Xiaomi 9, and the RedmiK20 Pro, Xiaomi says the stable MIUI 11 update for the device is in the final stage, and will soon get the MIUI 11 based on Android 10 OS.

For our friends in India, you can expect to start getting the update from October 22nd for the first batch of devices which include the POCO F1, Redmi K20, Redmi y3, Redmi 7, and the entire Redmi Note 7 series including the  Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7s and Redmi Note 7 Pro.
