Motorola’s foldable RAZR phone finally has a launch date, see you on November 13

We have known for quite some time now that Motorola is prepping a reboot of its iconic Razr brand but in the form of a foldable Razr phone. It was earlier rumored to arrive in summer, but we missed that target, and finally, it appears we on track again.

The brand earlier today sent out media invite to a launch event in downtown Los Angeles on November 13th. It doesn’t explicitly reveal the star product for the day, but it is apparent we will be treated to a foldable Razr phone. The teaser includes a GIF that shows the old flip phone transforming into what could be the new Motorola foldable phone.

It has the tagline –  “An original unlike any other,” with the 11/13/19 date. Cnet says the November event will feature special guests and musical performers, as well as “a journey through immersive experiences.” The invite also say “You’re going to flip,” which again confirms we are dealing with a foldable smartphone.

The brand got patent approval for a foldable phone design earlier this year, but we are yet to get any official teaser that depicts what its foldable device will look like. For specs, previous reports say the Foldable Razr phone will feature dual displays – a 6.2-inch OLED screen on the inside and a small, secondary display on the outside. It will reportedly be powered by the Snapdragon 710 SoC coupled with 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB configurations. The battery is rumored to be a 2,730 mAh cell.

We will have to hold our breathe till November 13 when the exact details will be announced
