Device security
According to Samsung, users of the Galaxy S10 series and Galaxy Note 10 series should avoid third-party protective screens. This is because it makes the on-screen fingerprint sensor vulnerable. The company will release an update to tackle this issue next week.
The point of the fingerprint sensor is security of the phone, surely! Reccomending the use of a Samsung screen cover instead of a generic one is no answer. So, when the phone is stolen, perps immdiately replace or install the generic screen protector and you can access, for example, any banking app on the phone! Really Samsung.
