A new leak emerged today revealing what seems to be Huawei’s upcoming MediaPad M7 tablet. Comparisons between this alleged Huawei Tablet and some of Apple’s iPads will be inevitable. But worth noting that Huawei MediaPad M7 has some unique characteristics in its design and counts with a Stylus.
Apparently, the M7 build will be covered by a metal finish. Furthermore, the display counts with very slim bezels, resulting in a beautiful look for a device of this size. According to the source of this leak, the M7 is internally known by the codename “Marx”. However, considering that it offers support to the magnetic keyboard and has a stylus, there are enough reasons to believe that it is a successor for MediaPad M6.

MediaPad M7 alleged specifications:
Unfortunately, there no much details about this new tablet. For now, these renders are everything we have about it, but they aren’t enough to reveal the actual size of the display. The remaining specifications are a mystery as well. Considering the past MediaPad iterations, we believe that the Huawei MediaPad M7 will be a flagship offer. For that reason, the Kirin 990 SoC with 8GB of RAM, should be the most reasonable choice to give power to this premium handset.
One interesting thing to notice on the device’s display is the presence of punch-hole. We have no record of a tablet adopting this solution for the selfie camera. But it is definitively a welcome change for the sake of slim bezels. On the rear of the tablet, we can see a dual-camera setup. On the bottom, there is a USB Type-C port in the middle of two speaker grills. The Magnetic Keyboard should be attached to the tablet via the usual Pogo Pins, although we can’t spot the connectors through these leaks. The Stylus should use the usual magnetic attachment.
There are no details regarding the launch of this new tablet. Considering that the MediaPad M6 series is so recent, we believe that this device still has some months remaining before becoming official.
