The recently released Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL are already involved in controversy. Usually, Pixel smartphones are packed with the best of camera capabilities due to powerful software. Google may be going in a different way than all the companies are going with their 64MP, 108MP cameras. But still, the company’s smartphones always delivers some of the best pictures captured by a smartphone. This year, however, the company decided to not implement 4K video recording at 60FPS.
None of the two Pixel 4 devices can record a video with such resolution and frames per second. The search giant made a post in Twitter to justify its choice. Considering that the Pixel 4 devices come with 64GB of base storage and the only upgrade option is 128GB, Google has chosen to not implement 4K@60fps recording. According to them, it could fill half a gigabyte of storage every minute. Therefore, the Pixel 4 devices are shipping with just 4K@30FPS recording.
