But first, take a look at this list of devices that are already receiving MIUI 11, and if your device is one of them, then continue reading the following.
Here is the phones that will be updated by the end of October.

If your mobile is on the list and has not yet updated to MIUI 11, try these little tricks that can force the update.
First, enter the settings of your device and click on ‘About phone’. Then, go to ‘System Updates’ and wait for the screen to update. If it tells you that there are no updates available, do not worry. Keep trying by pressing the ‘check for updates’ button several times. This happened to me personally and I had to press the update button up to three times.

Second, if it’s not working, we have to change the region of your mobile to another country, for example, India. In the mobile settings, in the search bar, we type the ‘region’ (without the quotes) and a result will appear. We click on it and, within the list of cities and countries in the world, we choose ‘India’. This procedure is totally safe. Next, we return to the ‘About phone’ section and perform the same action again, updating.
You also have at your disposal an application developed by third parties called Downmi (Download) with which you can access the latest stable ROM version of your Xiaomi phone. You just have to find the model of your device. Then click on ‘Global Stable’ and then download it to your phone. Once you have downloaded it, we proceed to install it as follows.
First, we will copy and paste the downloaded ROM into the ‘downoladed_rom’ folder using a file manager. We can use the one that comes default on your Xiaomi mobile. Then, we go again to the ‘About this phone’ section . And in ‘System update’ we press a few times on the logo until a small temporary warning appears. Then, click on the three-point menu and choose ‘Select update package’. We look for the ‘Downloaded_rom’ folder and select the ROM that we have previously downloaded.
