Huawei 5G industrial module with 2Gbps network speed released for 999 yuan ($141)


Today, Huawei launched a number of 5G terminal products at the Shenzhen conference. In addition to 5G mobile phones and 5G consumer-grade WiFi, Huawei also launched 5G products for the industrial market.  The Huawei MH5000 is the first single-core multimode 5G module for industrial purposes. The Huawei 5G industrial module comes with 2Gbps network speed and has a 999 yuan ($141) price tag.

In addition to the fast and low latency features of the 5G network, it is also very important for IoT which requires a dedicated 5G module for networking. The Huawei MH5000 fully supports 2G/3G/4G/5G networks. In addition, it supports 5G SA/NSA dual mode. The uplink rate reaches 230Mbps while the downlink rate is up to 2Gbps.

Huawei 5G industrial module

Huawei MH5000 has a built-in high-performance CPU core. The dual-core A73 performance is far superior to those for consumer businesses. The baseband directly connects the CPU and this reduces the system complexity and shortens the development cycle. In terms of security, the Huawei MH5000 supports the TrustZone microkernel. This uses a hardcore security including boot security, storage security, and encryption security. In addition, Huawei MH5000 5G industrial module supports up to 18 hardware interfaces. It supports controllers, sensors, memory, Bluetooth, WiFi, GNSS, and other applications.
