The new Google Pixel 4 is currently dealing with a couple of issues and it appears it’s not stopping anytime soon. The company already promised update for the face unlock and 90Hz refresh screen issues. Now, a German user just noticed that the display of the Pixel 4 is warmer (relative to Pixel 3). While this is not exactly an issue, it raised concerns for some users. Although there are several other settings for the display which the Pixel 3 does not have, the change does not give a significantly different colour profile for the Pixel 4. Google officially confirmed the warmer display of the Pixel 4
Hallo Denny.

The tweet reads “Is it just me or the display of GooglePixel4 is not well-calibrated, very warm?”. Google responded “Hello Denny. We just came across your tweet. Yes, we’ve moved the display color at the Google Pixel 4 away from the cooler, bluish ones, giving it a warmer, yellowish tone. Let us know if you have any questions”.
When compared with the pixel 3, it is noticeable that the displays deviate appreciably. It appears that the Pixel 4 is a bit too warm and therefore yellowish, the Pixel 3 display is much too cold and bluish at the same time. This requires quite a bit of time to settle in, even when compared to displays of devices from other manufacturers.
