Vivo X30

We are already aware of the fact that Vivo is working on a new smartphone dubbed Vivo X30. The smartphone has already been leaked numerous times before, revealing key aspects of the device. Last month, Vivo announced the partnership with Samsung at one of its conference. In this partnership, the Chinese smartphone maker will bring a 5G-enabled smartphone with Exynos 980 underneath. As expected, this is the same device which was found earlier in the trademark filings. Well, we now have the information on the launch timeline of the device.

Vivo X30: Launch Details, Availability

If the recent report is to be believed, Vivo X30 might see its official unveiling by the end of this year, somewhere in the month of December. This report is coming from a reliable leakster from China. The very same report also confirms that the device will go by the X30 moniker. At the time of covering this, there is no solid information on the pricing and availability of the device. Expected Specifications, Features

Considering the previous leaks and rumours, Vivo X30 will come with a notchless display meaning the device will make use of the pop-up mechanism. Since the device might feature a triple camera module, various reports have suggested a design like Vivo X27 Pro. Speaking of X27 Pro, Vivo X30 is a successor of X27 which was launched way back in March 2019. Under the hood, the device will run on Samsung’s Exynos 980 platform meaning the device will support the 5G connectivity. Furthermore, there will be no 4G units of the device.

The Exynos 980 is a mid-range SoC which is manufactured using the 8nm fabrication process. The chipset consists of eight cores namely 2x Cortex A77 clocked at 2.2GHz and 6x Cortex A55 clocked at 1.8GHz. For graphics, the chipset makes use of Mali-G76 MP5 GPU. Apart from these, most of the specifications of the device are non-existent as of now. Although we are expecting more information to surface in the coming days.
