OPPO’s Henry Tang said, “The unrelenting efforts from OPPO and other industry peers have paved the way for the rapid adoption of 5G, with users in select countries and regions already becoming early adopters of OPPO’s 5G smartphones” He further added, “We hope our next-generation dual-mode 5G offerings will deliver a superior experience to more consumers in more markets globally, making 5G readily available to a wider consumer base worldwide.”
The company’s upcoming 5G smartphone will work on both SA(Standalone) and NSA(Non-standalone) networks. This device is expected to be launched by the end of this year powered by Qualcomm’s dual-mode 5G mobile platform. We don’t know the exact name of the device but the company has a new Reno S phone in the pipeline, according to latest speculation. It’s possible that the new handset will be that. Needless to say, it will be a flagship device considering it will be powered by a Qualcomm processor.
