In addition to unveiling the Xiaomi CC9 Pro, and the Mi Watch smartphone, Xiaomi a few days ago confirmed it will be unveiling the Xiaomi Mi TV 5 come November 5th. Ahead of the launch, the brand has released a fresh teaser on Weibo that reveals the TV could mark its entry into the very premium TV segment.
According to the teaser, the Xiaomi Mi TV 5 will feature the premium Quantum Dot display panels from Samsung. While the brand has yet to reveal official renders of the upcoming TV5 series, the latest teaser says the TV will come with a 4K QLED panel with NTSC 108% wide color gamut. This will mark a move from the LCD or LED panels currently employed by the Chinese firm for its range of Smart TV. The TV, much like the Oneplus TV might come with HDR, HDR 10+, and Dolby Vision.
