After timely updating the Redmi Note 7 lineup, Xiaomi has now started seeding a new software update to the Mi TV 4A Pro in India. The update is specifically hitting the 49-inch variant of the lineup. It brings the latest Android TV operating system along with some anticipating feature making it the major update for the product. Well, Xiaomi announced the rollout of the update on its official Indian Twitter account.

According to the post, the latest software update brings Android TV 9 to the television along with the availability of Netflix and Prime Video. For those who’re unaware, Xiaomi’s smart TV lineup runs on the Patchwall OS which does not support these two media streaming platforms for some reasons. It seems like the users of Mi TV 4A Pro will finally be able to enjoy the popular content from these services on their television.
