Vivo is back with yet another budget smartphone dubbed Vivo Y3 Standard Edition in China. As the name suggests, the device is a variant of the previously launched Vivo Y3. For those who’re unaware, the original device was launched way back in May 2019. Unlike the previous variant, the standard edition features Snapdragon chipset and dual camera module. Vivo Y3 Standard Edition: Price, Availability
The standard edition of the device comes in a single variant only featuring 3GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard memory. The device will set you back around RMB 999 (roughly $142). The smartphone is up for grabs in two different color variants – Blue and Jake Red options. Vivo Y3 Standard Edition is available on the company’s online website in China.

Coming to the specs, the device features a 6.35-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720 x 1544 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.3:9. The display also comes with a waterdrop notch housing the front selfie camera. Under the hood, the device runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 chipset along with 3GB of RAM. For onboard memory, there is a 64GB storage which is expandable via MicroSD slot.
For imaging, there is a dual-camera module at the back having a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary lens. There is an 8MP front snapper for selfies and video calling. Underneath, there s a massive 5,000mAh battery with 10W fast charging support. The new variant runs on the latest Android 9.0 Pie with FuntouchOS 9.1 skin on top.
There is a fingerprint sensor on the back for all your biometric needs. Alternatively, the device also supports Face Unlock which uses the selfie camera and 2D representation of the face. Other features include Bluetooth, WiFi, Micro USB port and audio jack. Lastly, the device comes with some additional features for the immersive gaming experience.
