The Realme 5 was unveiled alongside its Pro version in August. On the other hand, the Vivo Z1 Pro was launched in July, a month earlier than the former phone. Realme 5 and Vivo Z1 Pro had an initial retail price of ₹9,999 and ₹14,990 in India respectively but not anymore as both of these devices have now received a price cut. The discount can be availed both on Flipkart and Realme’s official website. in the case of the former.
The base variant of Realme 5 with 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM now costs ₹8,999 ($115 approx.) which is ₹1,000 less than its launch price. The other two variants with 4GB/64GB and 4GB/128GB configurations have also received the same price cut of ₹1,000. Hence, these variants will now retail for ₹9,999 and ₹10,999 respectively instead of ₹10,999 and ₹11,999.

Whereas, the Vivo Z1 Pro now starts at ₹13,990 ($200) for the base 4GB/64GB variant instead of ₹14,990. Interestingly, the higher variants with 6GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB configurations which used to cost ₹16,990 and ₹17,990 have received a price cut of ₹2,000. Thus, these two variants can be now purchased for ₹14,990 and ₹15,990 respectively.
In case you are not aware, the Realme 5 and Vivo Z1 Pro have been selling in India at this price since the festive sales a month ago. Anyways, buyers can also exchange their old smartphone and bring the price further down by ₹10,800.
