Xiaomi’s portfolio of unusual products has just received a new member – Xiaomi Fish Tank. Yeah, you heard it right, the popular giant of China has just released a fish tank that can fit perfectly at homes and offices. The fish tank comes with a 299 yuan ($43) price tag.

The fish tank is design comes to keep an ecological balance. This way users don’t need to change the water frequently as nitrates and other wastes are removed. Interestingly enough, there’s a compartment at the top where you can raise flowers. Besides this, you don’t need to open the entire upper lid in order to feed the fish. There is an adjustment knob in the side for feeding. It also adjusts the overall oxygen supply. The fish tank incorporates the siphon principle to balance up the fish rearing and keeping the plant watered via water vapor. When the tank stores water, the vapor is sent up to the plant.

Xiaomi’s Fish Tank comes with a friendly design with a one-button solution. The water can be removed automatically with a simple button press, thus removing the cumbersome water changes the process. It also includes a four-stage filtration system, volcanic stone and magnetic ring stone culture nitrifying bacteria. In addition, it has activated carbon to kill harmful bacteria, upper filter cotton and lower layer biochemical cotton which can filter debris.

The design also includes a 360-degree curved glass which ensures there is no viewing dead angle. Last but not least, it has beautiful lights to give a cool looking effect. The Xiaomi Fish Tank has low power consumption and can be powered by a Power Bank.
