Samsung Galaxy A91 gets BIS certification – launch is imminent

South Korean manufacturing giant, Samsung, is currently working on a couple of smartphones and one of them is the Galaxy A91. According to @Sudhanshu1414, a new Samsung phone with model number “SM-A915F” recently got India’s BIS certification. This device is most likely the Samsung Galaxy A91. Initial reports claim that the Galaxy A91 has the model number “SM-A915G”. Apparently, it appears that  SM-A915G” and “SM-A915F” are the same.

From the speculations so far, the Samsung Galaxy A91 comes with a 6.67-inch Infinity-U display and it will be available in white and black colour options. The basic model will provide 128GB of storage space. Courtesy of the report by SamMobile, we now have the complete specs list of the upcoming Galaxy A91. It seems like the smartphone will share some core specifications as that of Galaxy A90 5G. Under the hood, the device has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset as well as 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The device will also support microSD card expansion up to 512GB.

In terms of imaging, the device comes with a triple camera module featuring a 48MP primary sensor and a 5MP depth sensor. It will also use a 12MP ultra-wide lens. For selfies, the device will feature a 31MP front snapper having an aperture of f/2.2. The battery has a 4,500 mAh capacity which supports 45W fast charging.  The connectivity features include Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C and Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac. Unlike the Galaxy A90 5G, the smartphone will not come with the 5G support meaning it should be cheaper. Coming to the software, various reports suggest that the device will feature the latest Android 10 out-of-the-box.

Regarding the price, Ishan Agarwal said that this phone will cost between 30,000 rupees ($419) and 35,000 rupees ($488). It is understood that the Samsung Galaxy A90 5G version  WiFi, Bluetooth SIG, South Korea NRRA certification and India’s BIS certifications.
