Xiaomi Mijia 2400 ANSI lumens laser projector released for 5999 yuan ($853)


Chinese manufacturing giant, Xiaomi, has a couple of projectors in the market. These projectors have different prices and qualities with its ANSI lumens reaching 9000. However, the company also has projectors with much lower ANSI lumens (900 – 1500) which are cheaper for obvious reasons. Most of Xiaomi’s projectors are from Mijia and they have been doing quite well. Now, we have a new projector from the company – Xiaomi Mijia 2400 ANSI lumens laser projector.

At the Xiaomi Developers Conference, Xiaomi officially released the Mijia laser projector. The main configuration includes 2400 ANSI flow brightness, built-in AI capacity which supports far-field voice, Bluetooth link, 150-inch screen, and dual 10W speakers.

In addition, the Xiaomi Mijia 2400 ANSI lumens laser projector also comes with an ALPD 3.0 light source efficiency increase of 20%; 100% Color brightness; deltaE<2.5; HDMI delay optimization ≤ 40ms; 1.2: 1 projection ratio; +45 degree keystone correction; 4 Mai array far-field voice. It also includes linkage to Mi home loT equipment, 1.75-inch full-range high-fidelity speakers; DOLBY / DTS double decoding and DOLBY virtual surround sound.

The light of this device is so bright and can be seen clearly during the day (100% Rec.709 HDTV). In terms of this projector will be available for 5999 yuan ($853). As of now, there is no information on the availability of this device. This also means that we do not know the exact date that it will be available in the market.     No contrast ratio or native resolution? That’s what really matters other than lumens.
