DxOMark experts who specialize in testing cameras of modern smartphones gave their assessment of the Sony Xperia 5 front camera. They rated the device 79 points, two points lower than last year’s flagship Galaxy S9+. But one point higher than its predecessor – Xperia 1. DxOMark noted problems with white balance both indoors and outdoors. Alongside with a limited dynamic range. And a high amount of noise and errors in choosing the depth of field when shooting in portrait mode.

I have the Xperia 1 and it has the same problem and it’s making my experience with the phone so bad but I’m a Sony fan boy so I hope they could fix it with some software updates 🙂
Im a Sony fan too but I can’t wait anymore for sticking with their unstable phones. I’ve switched to OnePlus for better experiences.
i’m also a Sony hardcore, but i don’t care for selfies. so it’s totally fine for me. I ain’s a princess who need forever attention from social medias. if you are a normal person, it’s a totally fine phone
