A couple of days ago, Huawei unveiled its next 5G smartphone dubbed Huawei Nova 6 5G by teasing a short video ad. The teaser revealed the design of the smartphone in its entirety. Earlier today, the Chinese smartphone maker teaser yet another key aspect of the device. This time we’re looking at the 32MP dual front selfie camera module.
Huawei Nova 6 to Come with 32MP Dual Selfie Cameras
The Chinese smartphone maker posted a short video teaser on its official Weibo social platform. The teaser shows a user clicking selfie shots with her pet cat. At the end of the video, the brand reveals the presence of a 32MP selfie shooter on the front. Furthermore, the entire teaser ad touts the selfie capabilities of the device. Teased previously, the upcoming Nova 5 5G will feature a punch-hole display housing two selfie sensors.

With the help of a new dual-camera module, users will be able to click 105-degree ultrawide selfies without using any selfie stick. Sadly, the teaser doesn’t reveal anything else about the front camera module. The phone will see its official unveiling on December 5 i.e. next month. We’re expecting more similar teasers to come forward in the coming days.

Looking at the previous leaks and rumors, Huawei Nova 6 5G will feature an IPS LCD display with punch-hole design. Under the hood, the phone is powered by Kirin 990 chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.1 storage. We might see a 12MP selfie shooter along with the teased 32MP lens. At the back, there is a quad-camera module featuring 60MP, 16MP, 12MP, and 2MP sensors. All of this is backed by a 4,000mAh battery packed inside. For biometrics, there should be a fingerprint sensor on the side instead of the back.
As the name suggests, the smartphone will support the latest 5G connectivity standards. There should be different memory variants – 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB.
