Samsung is reportedly working on two Lite smartphones dubbed Galaxy S10 Lite and Galaxy Note 10 Lite. As per the previous report, both the device might launch in the Indian market next month i.e. December 2019. We now have yet another information on the upcoming Note 10 Lite smartphone. This time it’s about the device’s S-Pen stylus. Like all the other Note devices, the Lite variant will also feature an S-Pen stylus. The stylus recently made an appearance on the FCC listing revealing some key information.
The FCC document reveals the dimensions of the pen which measures 5.80mm x 4.35mm x 105.18mm. This dimension is somewhat similar to the Note 10 stylus. Even though the size is identical, it is not necessary that the stylus will come with gyro hardware. For those who’re unaware, the all-new Note 10 stylus features gyroscopic controls. Since the device comes with the Lite moniker, we might see just the basic controls such as the wireless shutter key for the camera.
Furthermore, it seems like the FCC will not release the external photos of the stylus until May 25, 2020. This suggests that the device might not launch this after all. This new development actually makes more sense since Note 10 will witness a major sales drop during May 2020 considering the device will be 9 months old. This will be a perfect moment for the brand to launch the new Note 10 Lite. The May 2020 launch will also not interfere with the Galaxy S11 lineup.
Apart from Galaxy Note 10 Lite and S10 Lite, the chaebol is also working on Galaxy A81 and Galaxy A51 smartphone. In other news, Samsung recently rolled out the One UI 2.0 Android 10 public beta for Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus smartphone in India and South Korea. On top of this, we now have the updated roadmap of the latest update as well.
