Back in October, Samsung revealed its second iteration of software dubbed One UI 2.0 adding more features to its cleaner Android experience. After Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy S10 family, it’s time for the previous-gen Galaxy S9 lineup to enjoy the taste of all-new One UI 2.0 software. Unlike the previous time, the smartphone maker seems to be putting extra effort to deliver Android 10 as soon as possible. For those who’re unaware, One UI is the company’s revamped software designed to offer clean and minimal experience while still focussing on one-hand usage.
Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+ Receives Android 10 One UI 2.0 Beta Update
The smartphone maker has finally started the One UI 2.0 Android Beta program for both the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus smartphone. The public beta program has already commenced in India and South Korea. As mentioned earlier, the new program is based on the latest Android 10 software. Like with current flagship devices, the first phase will bring all the new teased features while the future releases will focus on fixing the bugs. To receive the beta update, users will have to enroll in the program using the Samsung Members app. Once enrolled, you can go ahead and install the update from the Software Update menu in the Settings app. It is worth noting that the update might take a few minutes to seed to your smartphone.
