The Asus Zenfone 5Z is updated to Android 10 stable version


Asus has just deployed the Android 10 stable version on the Zenfone 5Z. This brings all the new features of the major update of Google, but also some changes of the home interface of the manufacturer.

With the end of the year, we expect the arrival of the update to Android 10 on several smartphones. Today, Zenfone 5Z is taking the opportunity and jumps to the latest version of the Google mobile operating system, following the Zenfone 6, which has been updated recently.

What’s new for the Asus Zenfone 5Z?

With this update, the Zenfone 5Z will be able to enjoy all the new features built into Android 10 by Google, such as the dark system theme, gesture navigation, better permissions management and smart replies. In addition to this, Asus indicates that some changes have been made to Zen UI, its in-house interface:

  • Support Google Play system update
  • Removed Page Marker, ZeniMoji, Selfie Master, Beauty Live, Kids Mode and Easy Mode. Alongside with weather animation setting, AI charging, WebStorage, Go2Pay, Report Location in Safeguard, and
  • Yandex cloud option in File Manager
  • Removed the support of Twin app for “Arena of Valor, PUBG, Vainglory, and Injustice 2”
  • Upgraded APN settings

Asus also recalls that some third-party applications may not be compatible with Android 10 and it is essential to back up all data before updating. As always, the deployment of this update is progressive. And it is possible that it will not be immediately available on all Zenfone 5Z devices.
