Earlier this month, Vivo announced a new smartphone dubbed Vivo X30 with Samsung at the joint conference. The smartphone is teased with the Exynos 980 chipset with dual-mode 5G connectivity. Since then, the device has been teased numerous times revealing bits of information one by one. We now have yet another teaser revealing the design and color variants of the upcoming smartphone.
Vivo X30: Punch-Hole Display and Color Variants
It seems like the punch-hole display is going to be the next obvious thing that we’re going to see in future smartphones. The smartphone maker recently posted another teaser to its official Weibo account. As per the teaser, Vivo X30 is going to feature a punch-hole display housing the front selfie camera. The punch-hole cutout is located in the right position of the screen. Furthermore, the device is equipped with a curved glass back featuring a quad-camera module. You can also see the periscope lens along with an LED flash as teased earlier in an ad. The back of the device also contains the company’s branding as well as the 5G logo.

The teaser video has also revealed the color variants of the device. The device will come in Black color as well as two gradient options namely Blue and Orange. At the bottom, you will see the USB Type-C port, a microphone along with a speaker while the top is not visible in the video. The top should feature a 3.5mm headphone jack for audio connectivity. As expected, the power button and the volume rockers are located on the right side while the left contains a dedicated AI assistant key.
Price, Availability
Vivo will announce the smartphone somewhere in the month of December in China. As of now, there is no solid information on the exact launch date as well as the pricing. It would be interesting to see whether the device will make its way to the global market or not.
